at 4:45 p.m. today barbara anderson was contacted by the chairman of her previous judicial committee from last week.

barb was asked to meet with a new judicial hearing to face new charges which are adjusted as follows:.

How utterly sad that these elders will have to wallow through $h!t up to their eyebrows. I hope they don't breathe in... or then again maybe I do, if they can actually go through with this kangaroo court.

How can they possibly justify following through on these ridiculous charges?

What possible reason could Barbara and Bill and the Pandelo's have, other than trying to expose the truth, and to help past victims to get some justice and to heal, and to protect more children from having to go through the double victimization that so many other have gone through?

What possible personal gain could be worth the personal pain and suffering these 4 have gone through, and will have added to them in the loss of the association of their own blood relatives? There IS no personal gain for them other than the satisfaction of helping and easing the pain of those who have suffered in silence for years.

If the cover-up and mistreatment of these victims wasn't true, would anyone in there right mind go through all of this and lose their own families as Bill has and Barbara is now facing?

She is a mother and is facing the shunning of her own son who is still being blinded by the false claims of the WTS. Hopefully he will snap to his senses and remember the mother who cared for him, nurtured him and raised him and see that she is to be supported not stomped on.

How can these elders and any JWs possibly continue to turn a blind eye to this travesty of justice?

Wake up and smell the coffee, you people still supporting this sinking ship.

How can you possibly believe that God is behind this kind of treatment of his little children and those trying to protect them?

Am I missing something here...the WTS actually pays taxes on the Patterson hotel bldg????

You say the hotel "is rated commercial as part of a deal cut to get the land and building permits for their University"???

That must have been some "sweet deal" if they agreed to the commercial rating and pay taxes on it instead of the rating of "religious" and be tax exempt!!!

I saw the statement from your link just fine. It clearly shows the assessed value of the property at 25 Columbia Heights, Brooklyn and the taxes billed as $0.

This link also shows the property classed as "Religious Dormitory" and therefore under the "Exempt" category as seen at this link:

Because he has made this statement, and tendered it to the board as fact, like others here i would / should ask that he provide us with a bases to his claim.

As a matter of fact, you have done the same thing of which you accuse Farkel. So, I should think you should do the same thing you request of him...that is "provide us with a 'bases' to his claim" (actually that is "basis")

You can see now PawPaw that the onus is not on me to tell you what i know.

Since you too made a statement contradicting Farkel's statement...the onus IS also on you to prove it.

Am i being unreasonable peoples ??

If I have to endure sitting through their drivel, that's the least I can do.

Or how about:
Get your copies of the release from as many handout areas as you can, in fact, get as many copies as they'll let you have (you know, for your other family members that can't line up) write a bogus name in each one and mark them up, then leave them lying around to be taken to "Lost and Found". They'll be unusable and WTS will be out of the donation for those books.

If several people did this everywhere...hmmm...could add up to lost $$$ from the Income that "they don't have" anyway according to their finacial reports on another thread.

Every little annoyance helps!!

I truly appreciate the logical approach of your appeal to JW lurkers.

JWs cannot use this public exposure of their scandalous mishandling of God's sheep as "prophecied persecution".

Persecution for righteousness' sake would have to be because of their righteously doing god's work.

This "persecution" of being publically exposed is because of the WTS's own stupidity and hypocrisy.

Gopher: I agree wholeheartedly with your assesment of the thread to which Derrick is referring.

It is an "old thread" depicting the "flavour of February" and I am so glad to see someone else recongnize and appreciate the "good turn this board has recently taken".

I see this site as having such a strong potential for accomplishing alot of good in exposing the hypocrisy, errors and lies of the WTS. I take such pleasure in seeing it as a thorn in the WTS side.

For the many here that still have family trapped in the grips of the WTS, this site is a potential "de-programmer" if it is allowed to live up to, and do that job. It is truly disheartening to see it stoop to the depths, we who leave the WTS, are accused of by the WTS.

I hope, (and I know I am not alone in this feeling), that we can continue to keep up the calibre of dignity that is shouting out of so many of the posts right now. I am constantly amazed and so impressed at the level of intelligence, logic, knowledege and human compassion that does come out at times like these.

Isn't this where we excel over and above the WTS? Can't we keep this "good turn", as Gopher calls it, going and still have some fun without turning into something that turns away potential "defectors"?

Since you both are new posters within the last 2 days, you probably are not aware of the other times this question has been asked, so some here seem a little impatient when seeing it asked again.

With all the references made to it in the recent newspapers, I am confident Dateline will not put it off much longer. I have heard this morning that it very likely will be by the end of this month but we can rest assured that Bill Bowen will inform us all here, loud and clear, what the exact date will be.

So keep reading, and posting too. Its nice to hear from you both.
